Kelly Guerin-Lower
CEO, Founder
KGL Connect was born from a need I recognized as both a professional in the healthcare (technology) space and as a mom to my son, Austin. I spent years (many on the road) connecting physicians and patients at point of care, improving patient engagement and interaction. I absolutely loved it but thought there’s got to be a way to make it better! I remember the journey to motherhood and beyond was a wild ride, and I was fortunate to have been given lots of solicited (and non-solicited!) advice from family and friends during this intimate and special time! But I also knew my doctors were my most trusted advisors and influencers, and I would’ve done pretty much anything they told me (and did!). Knowing physicians want more for their patients, and as patients, we always want more from our doctors, it seemed like a natural fit to find a way to make this happen. I was always told in my field, strengthen your physician, strengthen your position. I knew I needed to bring value to physicians which would bring value to patients, and what better way to do that than connect brands who can benefit this target market of expecting and new moms at a time when we are looking and listening the most! Everybody wins!
Grace Williams

Along with her team of national sales representatives, Grace brings creative strategies to drive both physician and patient engagement. She’s passionate about enhancing the patient experience by connecting consumer needs with retail solutions. POS’s high-end commercial print and communication technologies are perfect for motivating purchase decisions at exactly the right point. Their relationships with over 45,000 physician practices provide access to millions of patients nationwide.
Prior to POS, Grace represented L’Oreal USA at Target Corporation, and leverages that experience to build brand partnerships. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Alison Heffernan, MD
Alison Heffernan, MD is a born and raised New Orleans native, but has lived in Cincinnati for the last 10 years. She has worked as a general pediatrician for 13 years and has also owned a skincare business with Rodan+Fields for the last 4 years. Having the 2 separate business allows her to serve others in different capacities. Ali has three girls - ages 14, 12, and 7 and thrives on spending time with them and her husband, Ted. She loves to cook, travel, read, laugh, spend time with friends, work out at Pure Barre, and nap. She is an expert hugger. Her hopes in being a board member for KGL connect are to assist with evidence based medical backing and share personal experience.
Beth Dektas, MD
Beth Dektas, MD was born and raised in Cincinnati and has continued to love serving her hometown community. She has practiced in the field of OB/GYN for 11 years and feels honored to be sharing in one of the most incredible moments of a family’s life. She resides in Mt Lookout with her husband and three young boys. Most of her time outside of work is spent dedicated to her family and the many fun sporting events she is watching on the sidelines. In her free time for herself you can find her out on a jog or at group classes of barre or pilates. As a part of KGL Connect ,she hopes to lend her experience both professionally and personally for the achievement of top quality delivery of care.
